The fire was in Richmond in Wayne County, 70 miles (112.6 kms) east of the US state of Indianapolis

Indiana State Police spokesperson confirmed that the blaze was at the former Hoffco factory, which closed in 2009

Authorities have asked the residents who reside within 1 km radius of the factory to evacuate immediately
