Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath met the Bollywood fraternity in Mumbai is his efforts to persuade them to consider his state as a viable destination for movie shoots. The UP CM Yogi met Bollywood Celebs as he addressed a business meet in Taj Palace Hotel in Mumbai where he pointed out that investor-friendly policies crafted by the current Uttar Pradesh Govt coupled with stable law and order situation and proper infrastructure makes his state a perfect choice to explore commercial possibilities. The said meeting is regarded by a few as the dress rehearsal and marketing and awareness-raising strategy for the Global Investor Summit, which is due in the state capital in February.

Quoting the recognition presented to the state as a film-friendly state at the National Awards Ceremony for Filmmaking and the International Film Festival of India, Yogi Adityanath laid out the benefits provided by his Govt that include subsidies to the extent of 50% for web series shoots and 25% subsidy for setting up lab units and studios.

India’s aim for a $5 trillion economy can be fuelled through investments made in states that help businessmen and investor by providing them the ideal platform to setup and run their show. UP CM Yogi met Bollywood Celebs and was being very much vocal on the contribution his state aims to make to achieve the above objective. The state officials claim the Government aims to attract investment proposals to the tune of Rs.15 lakh crore from the upcoming investment summit by highlighting the infrastructure and policy related benefits that are in store for prospective investors should they decide to consider the proposal of the Uttar Pradesh Government in diverse areas like technology, logistics, agriculture , defence manufacturing , etc. Land acquisition, which has been a challenge in quite a few states has been eased for availability in the state by forming and administering the land banks and keeping the mafias at bay.
Apart from meeting the film personalities, the UP CM also met the businessmen and entrepreneurs like Mukesh Ambani, N Chandrasekharan, Kumar Mangalam Birla among others.
