Vadh Movie Review 2022, as per online feedbacks from the movie-goers and critics, has received a mixed response. The movie is a crime thriller which tells the tale of a common man, who is also a schoolmaster, commits a murder accidentally under immense financial and mental pressure from his surroundings. The movie delves into the nuances of the human behaviour and emotions and the schoolmaster’s attempts to escape from getting caught. Starring Sanjay Mishra and Neena Gupta in the lead roles, the movie has been directed by Jaspal Singh Sandhu and Rajeev Barnwal.
Storyline
The movie is about an old married couple played by Sambhunath Mishra (Sanjay Mishra) and Manju Mishra (Neena Gupta) who lead a simple but boring life in a middle class neighbourhood in Gwalior. Sambhunath sends his son to USA after borrowing a considerable amount of money from a loan shark. However, the son turns out to be very ungrateful and doesn’t even keep in touch even on phone or assist his parents financially. As the son sighs away from his promise made to his father about paying back the money, Sambhunath lands in a soup as he finds it extremely difficult to make ends meet. Harassed by the loan shark, Sambhunath accidentally commits a murder. The film follows his quest to escape from the clutches of law and whether he succeeds in his pursuit.

The movie as a crime thriller is partly successful is keeping the audience engaged as it is able to build a connection with the audience with the plot unfolding slowly. The credit goes to the director-duo as well as the lead actors Sanjay Mishra and Neena Gupta who did a commendable job. However, the murder portrayal is gruesome to an extent, and questions do arise on the relevance of the means. The background score along with the music and the lyrics complement each other and together they build an aura of suspense for the audience. On the whole, the movie is a must watch.
