In the Sanjeeva Jeeva murder, the 18-month-old girl, who happened to have sustained a bullet injury below her shoulder while the assailants gunned down the gangster Sanjeev Jeeva is currently under observation by the concerned medical team at the Intensive Care Unit of the pediatric department of the King George’s Medical University.

Doctors have confirmed that the bullet is still inside the body of the 18-month-old girl and that she is currently under observation, though she cannot be considered as critical as far as her physical state is concerned. “We are keeping a close watch on her condition. At present, her condition is stable but she is under continuous observation,” said Dr. Yadvendra Dhir, the pediatric trauma expert at the medical university under whom the girl is admitted.
The doctor said the bullet is still inside her body. “We have not yet planned to take out the bullet. It pierced through the skin and is located on the side of the chest. The bullet entered the body from behind,” said Dr. Yadvendra faculty with the trauma surgery department. The doctors are yet to decide on when to take the bullet out of her body and it depends upon her condition to face the anesthesia and keeping in view the early damage, if sustained to her vital organs.

In the Sanjeeva Jeeva murder case, the gangster happened to be an old aide of the dreaded gangster-turned-politician, Mukhtar Ansari, who was shot dead by unknown assailants in the Lucknow Court compound. The gangster has been identified as Vijay Yadav who hails from the Jaunpur area which is known to have a history of gang wars. However, the police have not yet been able to ascertain any clear motive behind the attack on the gangster as he doesn’t belong to any rival gangs.
Sanjeeva Jeeva murder accused Yadav, shot Jeeva with a .357 bore Magnum Alpha Pistol and emptied all 6 bullets on him. He is said to have done his homework wherein he knew the exact courtroom Jeeva will be produced and was waiting patiently outside.
