Famous South African Rapper Keiran shot dead just before the start of his show in Durban, South Africa by two unknown assailants outside a popular night spot in the city. Aged 35, he was one of the most famous Rappers in the country and was shot near the Florida Street area where he was slated for a gig. As per reliable media sources, the incident occurred around 10 pm at night while the victim was standing on a roadside pavement when shots were heard by a few eyewitnesses. However, even though the number of assailants was confirmed by the witnesses to be two in number, their identity is yet to be ascertained by the concerned law enforcement authorities.

Apart from the Rapper, there was another person who succumbed to his injuries inflicted by the unknown gunmen apart from the Rapper. The current news of Rapper Keiran shot dead spread like wildfire and the local police too confirmed the death of 2 individuals during the shootout including the star Rapper. The rapper was about to release his latest album “Mass County” which was due at the end of the current month. Sources say that he was riddled with as many as 6 bullets on the spot as he succumbed to the injuries on the very spot.
Official statements and condolences
“I can confirm that two men were killed and one of them is a well-known rapper. Police will not be releasing any names of the victims yet until a full investigation is completed,” KwaZulu-Natal police spokesperson Robert Netshiunda told the outlet. His family members took to the micro-blogging platform, Twitter to announce the death of the Rapper saying, “It is with extreme sadness that we acknowledge the passing of our beloved son,” the statement read.
The police are currently investigating Rapper Keiran shot dead to get to the root cause of the incident but haven’t released any official statement on the investigation.
