Prince Harry and Meghan Markle share close moments in public after the Coronation controversy. The royal couple was seen in a kiss cam moment as they enjoyed a basketball match together during the Los Angeles Lakers playoffs. Both of them were spotted together in public on Monday night and are believed to be making their first public appearance after the Coronation controversy, which they refused to be a part of.

During the playoff game in the Crypto.com arena, Prince Harry was seen leaning towards her for offering a kiss which she gently denied jokingly and as a response, the Duke put forward a playful grin in front of the camera. The couple has lived in California since their 2020 split with the rest of the Royal Family. They sat in a suite in the stadium to watch the Lakers beat the Memphis Grizzlies in game four of the NBA playoffs.
The incident follows her denial to attend the coronation ceremony of her father-in-law, King Charles, which in turn created a lot of upheaval around the world. Before this appearance, she attended a virtual meeting with her long-time Nigerian photographer friend Misan Harriman.
Pictures clicked by her have been made public by Meghan Markle that include a black-and-white photo announcing Meghan’s second pregnancy and another to mark their daughter Lilibet’s first birthday. Meghan also referenced his activism and his work capturing the Black Lives Matter protests, she said: “His lens has captured everything from events that have changed the world, moments that we all desperately needed to see along with some of the planet’s most recognizable faces. But this was not always his path, and you might be surprised to hear not who, but what, he credits for his success.”

The Duchess reportedly sent the letter to King Charles outlining concerns she had about unconscious bias within the Royal Family. It followed a bombshell interview with TV superstar Oprah Winfrey.
During that 2021 interview, Meghan Markle shocked Oprah and royal watchers alike when she claimed that an unnamed member of the family had raised concerns about the color of unborn Prince Archie Harrison’s skin.
