The new look Pathan poster released marks the arrival of the most anticipated movie of the year till now,” Pathan” is out in the open and as expected raising the adrenaline levels for viewers and admirers alike. The movie is slated for a January 25th release and the release of the posters may act as a deterrent to the controversies to take up center stage as far as the publicity of the movie is concerned. The 3 solo posters released, each of Shahrukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham at their emotive best, do suggest a real pot-boiler on the cards. The trailer of the movie too, has been officially released today and the official response is yet to be recorded.

Many believe that the new posters and the trailers might divert the attention of the public from the recent controversies that have plagued the release of the movie. The controversy surrounding the song “Besharam Rang”, that created a furor amongst a few right-wing activists who cited that the lyrics and the attire of the female actor in the song are very much against the social well-being of the country and its citizens. Towing the same line, the Censor Board too, put forward its recommendations to be applied to the movie to comply with the social taste of the masses. Hence, the Pathan poster released today along with the trailer can act as a diversion from all the controversies that can affect the economic prospects of the movie in a negative way.
The movie is expected to hit the theatres on 25th January in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the movie features John Abraham as the antagonist and as expected, Shahrukh Khan as the lead protagonist. The movie has been produced by the famed Aditya Chopra of the YRF (Yash Raj Films) with Salman Khan playing a surprising cameo in the movie. Here’s wishing the movie, The very Best!!
