Notes App default account setup on iPhone or iPad
- Open Settings on the iPhone
- Select the Notes Application.
- Select the default account.
- Choose the relevant option from iCloud, email, Phone, etc.
Setting the Default Account on the Notes App
- Open the App.
- Click on the Notes option in the App and choose Settings.
- Select the dropdown list beside Default Account.
- Choose the relevant option from iCloud, email, Phone, etc.
In case, the Default Account option is not available the same can be enabled by launching Notes settings and ensuring the checkbox is populated. However, multiple accounts as Default cannot be set up. For those using iCloud for storing, the synchronization can be done on multiple devices for the same account so that the data can be accessed across multiple devices. Even if the default account is changed in the device, the notes data doesn’t get affected.
