In Karnataka State Elections 2023, the Congress party, in their desperate bid to regain their lost territory in Karnataka in their struggle for existence and relevance pan India released their election manifesto on Tuesday where they vowed to ban the Hindu radical organization Bajrang Dal in their pursuit towards a hate-free India. Congress, in their fight for survival and relevance in the country, are desperate to regain their lost ground which led Rahul Gandhi to the countrywide tour. However, the effects of the Yatra is yet to reflect in the poll results and Rahul’s sister Priyanka has also been campaigning aggressively in the State as well, leading to the countrywide general elections in 2024.

According to the party news, “law and Constitution is sacrosanct and cannot be violated by individuals and organizations like Bajrang Dal, PFI or others promoting enmity or hatred, whether among majority or minority communities.” “We will take decisive action as per law including imposing a ban on any such organizations, says Congress in its manifesto for Karnataka Elections 2023,” the Congress tweeted.

Apart from the pledge made by the Congress in Karnataka State Elections 2023 on banning Bajrang Dal, the country also highlighted a few welfare schemes as a part of their poll promise to win over the public.
