Kajol, the superstar female actor of Bollywood, suddenly announced her decision to quit the social media platforms of Instagram and Twitter citing personal challenges. She confirmed to the media that she is currently going through “ One of the toughest trials” in her life, leaving fans distraught. She happened to delete all her social media videos and posts as well, raising curiosity among those connected to her on social media.

Announcing her exile from the social media platforms, Kajol however, didn’t clarify the actual reason that attributed to her decision. A social media post from her end mentions “ Facing one of the toughest trials of my life”. The actress has been quite active on social media with her posts that included pictures of her husband and her children. Occasionally, she also posts throwback photos of her heydays on the celluloid screen as well. Hence, the self-imposed exile did raise a few eyebrows.
Quite a few followers of the Bollywood celebrity actress on social media expressed their shock and awe by asking her to clarify the reason for the same and also wished him well.
Kajol’s upcoming projects
The actress has quite a few projects in the pipeline starting with the Lust Stories 2 anthology that is being directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma, R. Balki, Konkona Sen Sharma, and Sujoy Ghosh along with actresses like Amruta Shubhash, Angad Bedi, Vijay Verma, Kumud Mishra, Mrunal Thakur, Neena Gupta, and TillotamaShome.
Apart from the above-mentioned projects, she is also slated to play the lead role in the adaptation of the famous US TV show “ The Good Wife”. The said TV series went on air in 2009 and has televised 7 seasons to date. The drama focused on Alicia Florrick, a woman who must support her politician husband after he is implicated in a sexual misconduct scandal while resuming her legal practice. The makers haven’t revealed the release date of Aamir Ali and Kajol Starer’s The Good Wife yet but dropped the first look last year.
