The candidates will serve as apprentices in the field of in the field of Engineering - Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering, Petrochemical Engineering, Safety Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Oil Technology, Food Technology, Industrial Engineering and Petroleum Engineering, for a period of one year as per provision of Apprentices Act, 1961 and the Rules thereof. Examination Pattern for HPCL recruitment 2023

- The selection process will involve a Personal Interview for all candidates who satisfy the Eligibility Criteria. The Interview is slated to happen in the month of January 2023, the date for which will be notified in due course.
- The merit list for the candidates will be prepared based on their marks secured in the qualifying exam and their performance in the said interview.
- The final step of the selection process would involve a medical test as per HPCL standards.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates should have secured at least 60% marks in aggregate in B.E./B.Tech from a recognized University in the above mentioned disciplines. For candidates in reserved categories, minimum 50% marks are required to be considered for HPCL recruitment 2023.
- Candidates, who have graduated after 01-Apr-20, are the only ones who are eligible to apply.
- Candidates should not be within the age group of 18-25 years. However, relaxations are applicable for candidates in the reserved categories.

- Candidates need to enroll themselves in the NATS (National Apprentice Training Scheme) portal and login after generating the login credentials.
- Candidates need to follow the on-screen instructions to enter the requisite details and complete the application process.
