Anant Ambani, son of prominent industrialist Mukesh Ambani and Chairman of Reliance Industries is now officially engaged to Radhika Merchant, daughter of the Merchant family who owns Piramal Group of Industries. The Anant Ambani engagement ceremony happened in the Ambani residence in Mumbai on Thursday, 19 January 2023.
Anant Ambani engagement: The big fat ceremony
As Mukesh Ambani and his wife Nita Ambani blessed their son Anant on his engagement with Radhika Merchant, the ceremony was attended by almost all big guns of Bollywood apart from the other eminent guests. Among the celebrities, Salman Khan, Shahrukh Khan, Sara Ali Khan, Varun Dhawan, Manish Malhotra, Arjun Kapoor, Boney Kapoor, Aishwariya Rai and her daughter Aradhya, Katrina Kaif were present to grace the occasion and bless the couple for a wonderful life ahead.
Dressed to Kill
Most of the invitees were in a traditional attire. Anjali Merchant, sister of the bride Radhika who is pregnant was also seen beside her sister. Needless to say, the couple in question looked stunning in their attire. As Anant was dressed in sapphire blue as Radhika was ravishing in her shades of red. Even Isha Merchant, the groom’s sister with her two children contributed to the upliftment of the ambiance exponentially in her pink suit complimented well with a necklace made of pearl beads and marquise cut diamonds, with which matching earrings could be seen in her ears as an accessory. Even the bride’s mother almost stole the attention for the elegance she displayed in her blue dress making everyone wonder whom to look forward to as far as fashion and beauty are concerned. Probably the odd one out in the entire ceremony was John Abraham dressed in a casual attire comprising of a jeans and t-shirt with a jacket. Needless to say, his attire drew sharp criticism from a few questioning the relevance of his outfit. Even Mukesh Ambani’s outfit too was too simple as far as few critics are concerned who suggested a more befitting attire was expected.
Leaving apart all such criticisms, lets wish the couple a very happy life together!
